Most barrel saunas can be placed on a level surface such as a deck, patio pavers, or compacted gravel — a poured concrete foundation is typically not required. We recommend ensuring the ground is flat and stable before assembly to keep the barrel level and the door operating smoothly.
ETL certification means the sauna heater has been tested by an independent laboratory and meets recognized safety standards for electrical components used in North America. Our 4.5 kW ETL certified model gives you confidence that the heating unit has been evaluated for safe residential use.
